Valley Vista Development Company, employed PennTerra Engineering to provide site engineering and design services for construction of the site infrastructure on a 13.7 acre tract, for a 105,000 square foot Home Depot store. The store is located in the Corridor Overlay District of Patton Township, Centre County. Services also included development of plans for approval by PennDOT for the North Atherton Street / Valley Vista Drive corridor. This scope included additional stacking for turning lanes and the installation of a signal at the project entrance. Coordination between the Township, PennDOT and the Client were required to develop a plan that would satisfy all these needs, while meeting the stipulations of Corridor Overlay Zoning.
